Wines from the FJCC Wine Tasting Event:

Wine# 1
Castello di Cesare Bianco (White) Lazio, Italy 2007
This is made with 70% Trebianno and 30% Malvasia which offer us a light easy
drinking wine.  The closest comparision would be a light bodied inexpensive Pinot
Grigio.

Wine #2
Byblos Bonarda (Dry) (Argentina) 2006
This wine displays a moderately dark cherry color and red cherry fruit aromas along
with hints of green herbs and a little earthiness and leather in the background. On
the palate the wine is dry, medium bodied with mouth-watering acidity, and soft
structured tannins. The finish is clean with ripe cherry fruit linger in the mouth.

Wine #3
Layla Malbec (Argentina) 2006
This wine displays an almost opaque deep red cherry color and dark bitter-sweet
chocolate, cherry jam with slight hint of leather on the nose.  This is a dry medium
bodied wine with mouth-watering acidity, and soft tannins.  The flavors on the palate
are similar to the aromas.  The finish is clean with a medium length of cherry jam with
hints of dark bitter-sweet chocolate.

Wine #4
Byblos Bonarda Semi-Sweet (Argentina) 2006
The wine displays a moderately dark cherry color with hints of plum and cherry fruit.
On the palate the wine is slightly sweet, medium bodied, mouth-watering acidity, and
soft tannins.  The flavors  are pronounced raisin, prune, almost a sweet cherry jam
flavor.  The finish is clean with a long lingering length of ripe cherry/cherry jam.
