Wine# 1 Castello di Cesare Bianco (White) Lazio, Italy 2007 This is made with 70% Trebianno and 30% Malvasia which offer us a light easy drinking wine. The closest comparision would be a light bodied inexpensive Pinot Grigio.
Wine #2 Byblos Bonarda (Dry) (Argentina) 2006 This wine displays a moderately dark cherry color and red cherry fruit aromas along with hints of green herbs and a little earthiness and leather in the background. On the palate the wine is dry, medium bodied with mouth-watering acidity, and soft structured tannins. The finish is clean with ripe cherry fruit linger in the mouth.
Wine #3 Layla Malbec (Argentina) 2006 This wine displays an almost opaque deep red cherry color and dark bitter-sweet chocolate, cherry jam with slight hint of leather on the nose. On the palate the wine is slightly sweet, medium bodied, mouth-watering acidity, and soft tannins. The flavors are pronounced raisin, prune, almost a sweet cherry jam flavor. The finish is clean with a long lingering length of ripe cherry/cherry jam.
